This grand structure was located within Rome. My husband and I walked all day (January 26, 2013) with our guide, Ricardo. We walked from the Coliseum, to the ancient Roman Empire. We ended our day in the beautiful Vatican City, where we absorbed all the ambiance of the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peters Square.

Welcome to my world of art, the things I've seen and the places I've experienced. I am an artist, living on the central coast of California, who enjoys painting and photography. I retired from California State University, Bakersfield, in 2001, after 27 years of service. My husband and I began traveling in 2003, and I began my career in the arts on November 1, 2010. I have spent the last few years developing my style; taking workshops under a few outstanding plein air artists; and continuing to visualize great scenes for painting. My husband, two daughters and four grandchildren will be the focus of my life until the day I die. By this focus and the grace of God, I hope to master the arts in my lifetime.
